Who he is
Two medical schools in one physician
Dr Yang is a rare combination of two medical schools. He graduated from the Faculty of Clinical Medicine at Volgograd State Medical University and completed clinical training in neurology at Volgograd Regional Hospital. He lived in Russia for around ten years — studying and working in hospitals and outpatient clinics — and knows from the inside how the post-Soviet medical system works and how its patients think.
The second school is Chinese, and it began earlier. From 1998 he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jinan under senior-generation masters, then trained in depth in acupuncture at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in Beijing, where he obtained the WFAS international acupuncturist certificate.
Between those two worlds came six years in Spain, where Dr Yang ran a private practice in Tenerife. Around 80% of the patients in his own practice were Russian-speaking — from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Baltic states. Working with these patients is not a recent turn for him; it has been his whole career.
Since 2018 he has worked in the medical cluster on Hainan: first at the Boao Yiling Life Care Center, then as a consultant at Ciming Boao International Hospital. He lectures on cellular technologies, including mesenchymal stem cells, and has a grounded sense of what the cluster can genuinely offer a patient — and what it cannot.

Education and qualifications
What stands behind «coordinating physician»
Every point is backed by a diploma or certificate.
- Russian medical degree
Volgograd State Medical University, Faculty of Clinical Medicine (2001–2008). The diploma carries a Hague apostille and is recognised by the Ministry of Education of the PRC.
- Clinical training in neurology
Volgograd Regional Hospital (2009–2011): resident physician, postgraduate researcher and teaching assistant.
- Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1998
Trained under senior-generation masters in Jinan: Professor Bian Chunqiang, a distinguished veteran TCM physician of Shandong province, and Professor Liu Jiming, chief physician in the acupuncture department at Shandong Provincial Hospital.
- WFAS international certificate
Acupuncturist qualification from the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies, associated with the WHO, obtained after advanced training at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.
- Russian as a working language, including clinical
About ten years living and working in Russia, plus a certified Russian-language teaching qualification.
- Experience inside the Boao Lecheng cluster
