Regenerative and cellular medicine in China

Restorative technologies already approved in the US, Europe and Japan — legally, years before they reach most countries. This is Boao Lecheng, China's state-regulated medical zone on Hainan island. MedBridge is the cluster's official representative for international patients: we match the physicians, arrange diagnostics and the programme, and take care of documents, interpreting and travel. All medical decisions are made by physicians.

Situations

What people bring to us

Six typical situations. If one of them is yours, calm and specific answers follow below.

01

A second opinion on a difficult question

Before a major decision, you want the position of one more strong clinical school — based on your records.

02

Restoration, not compensation

The goal is to return the body's function and resource — not to compensate a symptom for years.

03

Access to the early window

Methods approved in the US, EU and Japan — before they reach your market.

04

Energy and quality of life

Sleep, tone, mobility, clarity — after illness, strain or with age.

05

Medicine ahead of the curve

Deep diagnostics and work with risks before they become diagnoses.

06

Privacy and standard

A personal coordinator, a private format, payment made directly to the clinic.

Step 0 · diagnostics

Every treatment begins with an accurate diagnosis

Every programme here begins with diagnostics. A comprehensive check-up reveals the body's real condition and finds what's easy to miss: hidden inflammation, contraindications, early risks. On that data a physician builds the treatment plan. It doesn't begin without an accurate diagnosis.

Two programmes

An Essential check-up (100+ markers) and a Comprehensive one (~150): labs, cancer screening, ultrasound and CT.

4 days / 3 nights

Accommodation, meals and transfers included.

A personal plan

A physician builds your treatment and recovery plan.

An accurate diagnosis

The basis of safety: no programme begins without it.

Our focus · cellular medicine

Cellular & regenerative medicine

Cellular and regenerative medicine is our focus. In Boao Lecheng there is access to technologies not yet available in most countries, on a scientific base provided by the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Each programme is assembled for a specific person, from diagnostic results. A physician prescribes it.

The cluster also offers other advanced programmes — exosome therapy, personal storage of your own cells, neuro-nutritional support, ovarian anti-age and joint biorestoration (PRP) — by medical indication.

Area · Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine — at its source

What people have travelled to China for over centuries. We help arrange access to licensed TCM physicians with decades of practice — acupuncture, herbal medicine, tuina, moxibustion — with diagnosis, a programme and interpreting. By indication; decisions are made by physicians.

An acupuncture session — Traditional Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture

The finest sterile needles into active points — one of the best-studied areas for pain and tension.

Chinese herbal medicine

Individual botanical formulas the physician composes for your situation, not from a template.

Tuina & moxibustion

Chinese therapeutic bodywork and mugwort warming — a gentle, natural way to work with the body and its tone.

Pulse & tongue diagnosis

An individual picture by the TCM method, to which the physician matches methods made for you.

Authentic Chinese medicine here is not folk practice but an official, licensed branch of Chinese healthcare — one you can combine with the cluster's modern diagnostics.

Special access · only with us

Taoist medicine: Master Zhi Ning

Consultations with a bearer of a living Taoist transmission: the Shangqing (Maoshan) school in the 80th generation, and the academic school of the famed physician Li Ke — in the third generation of succession. Classical formulas, pulse diagnosis, restorative practices. Such specialists are few even in China — for our patients, consultations are arranged with an interpreter, by prior arrangement, alongside your main treatment.

Other areas

Other areas we help arrange

Beyond our flagship cellular medicine and TCM, we help you reach the cluster's specialist physicians in other areas too, with the same level of support. We don't diagnose online.

Diagnostics & check-up

A full, precise clinical picture for you and the physicians — the foundation of any decision.

Cardiology

Consultations and cardiac diagnostics with specialist physicians — based on your records and goals.

Oncology

Consultations and second opinions in oncology — discreetly and confidentially, from your records and scans.

Orthopaedics

Support for orthopaedic consultations and movement-recovery programmes tailored to your goal.

Rehabilitation

Recovery programmes in Hainan's calm climate — on the recommendation of your medical team.

Dentistry

Dental consultations and treatment planning at the cluster's clinics.

Aesthetic medicine

Aesthetic medicine — discreet, transparent and only after a specialist's assessment.

Second opinion

An independent review of your records by a specialist physician — before you make important decisions.

Access

Medicine that isn't available at home yet

A regulated PRC State Council zone opens technologies approved in the US, Europe and Japan — earlier than they reach most markets. That access is exactly what we open for you.

Why MedBridge

Treatment abroad — without the chaos and uncertainty

The hardest part of treatment abroad isn't the medicine — it's the logistics: language, documents, an unfamiliar system. That chaos is what we remove. You focus on yourself; the cluster's physicians run the medicine.

Direct access, not a travel agency

We connect you straight to the cluster's specialist medical teams — this is access, not a package tour.

A personal coordinator throughout

One person handles your case from the first message to your return home — you're never left alone with the system.

Zero language barrier

We take on all communication with the medical side and the translation — nothing important is lost or distorted.

Documents, handled end to end

We prepare and professionally translate your medical records so a specialist can review them properly, on the merits.

The predictability of premium service

Every step is explained and agreed in advance — no uncertainty, rush or unpleasant surprises.

Boao Lecheng

Why the Boao Lecheng medical cluster

One of the world's few state-run medical pilot zones — on Hainan, since 2013, under the PRC State Council.

  • Access you can't get at home

The zone opens access to world-class drugs and technologies, many not yet registered in other countries.

  • Decided by an MDT

Your plan is drawn up by a team of specialist physicians, not a single doctor.

  • A world-class specialist centre

Boao Worldlight Hospital (博鳌未来医院) — a centre of ~26,841 m² with 200 beds: oncology, check-up, regenerative medicine, aesthetics and its own cell-products laboratory.

  • International standards

Partner clinics with licences and international accreditations (ISO / JCI).

Hainan · Sanya

Recovery by the sea, not within hospital walls

The Boao Lecheng cluster sits on Hainan Island — a tropical resort often called “China's Hawaii.” The mild climate, the ocean and the unhurried pace are part of recovery: between consultations and procedures you stay at a resort hotel by the sea, not counting days in a ward.

Getting here

Closer than you think

The biggest barrier is the feeling that China is far and complicated. In practice the route is well-worn: visa-free Hainan, a straightforward flight and a coordinator who takes over from the moment you land.

Visa-free entry

Hainan is China's visa-free zone: citizens of 59 countries can stay for up to 30 days without a visa. Your coordinator confirms the rules for your passport before the trip.

Easy to reach

Sanya International Airport (SYX): direct routes from major Asian cities and smooth connections via Hong Kong, Guangzhou or Beijing.

Met in person at the airport

Your coordinator meets you at arrivals — from there everything runs to schedule: transfer, check-in, clinic. No taxis, no Chinese-language navigation.

2–5 days to a plan in hand

The active part of the visit is short: diagnostics, consultations and — by indication — the start of a programme. The rest of the time is yours, by the sea.

Standards and trust

What we rely on

Treatment takes place in the cluster's certified clinics — to international standards and under strict quality control.

Principles

The principles we work by

We build our work on a few firm rules and keep them at every step.

Official representative

We work with the Boao Lecheng cluster officially, not as an outside middleman.

You pay the clinic directly

You pay the clinic by official invoice. We add no markup on treatment.

Decisions rest with physicians

We don't interfere in medicine. Diagnosis, indications and plan are set by the cluster's doctors.

One coordinator, end to end

Your case is led by one English-speaking coordinator — from the first message to your return home.

Confidentiality

Personal and medical data are used only for your request.

Transparency

You know the steps, timing and how the cost is formed in advance. No surprises.

Trust

Built on confidentiality and clarity

For us, premium service means calm, privacy and predictability at every step.

  • Full confidentiality

Your personal and medical data are handled with care and used only for your request — with respect for your privacy.

  • Communication without pressure

We talk calmly and to the point, without pushing and without promising results.

  • You're always in control

At every step you know exactly the current stage and what comes next.

  • Service in your language

Coordination in English, built around the needs of international patients.

Questions

Common questions before you get in touch

No. Cellular and regenerative programmes are considered only by medical indication, after consultation and diagnostics. They don't replace standard care and don't promise a specific result — decisions are made by physicians.

Start calmly

Start with a conversation with a coordinator

Tell us your situation and goal — privately and confidentially. We'll advise which documents help prepare a preliminary review and what your next steps could be.

A preliminary review is not a diagnosis and does not replace an in-person consultation with a physician.
