Boao Worldlight Hospital is a precision-medicine research hospital and one of the pilot zone's first-wave projects. Its founder is Anhui Ruida Health Industry, whose research centre serves as the hospital's technology base. Its own campus: 40 mu of land, around 27,000 m² of floor area, 200 licensed beds and more than 150 specialists.
The hospital is built on a "1+X" model: a single medical platform brings together seven dedicated centres — from cell engineering and precision oncology to women's and children's health, rare diseases and a premium check-up. The patient does not move from clinic to clinic: the directions run on a shared base and a single medical record.
Its technological core is the cell engineering centre, built in 2017 and GMP-certified: 2,460 m², over 1,000 pieces of equipment, class A / B / C / D cleanrooms and a cell cryostorage facility. The scientific team includes professors from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and specialists in cell and gene therapy.
In its published materials the hospital states that it develops and applies an autologous fibroblast transplantation technology approved by the US FDA, a Japanese DC-cell biotherapy technology, and its own work on NK and CTL cells, HPV clearance and mesenchymal stem cells. Indications and eligibility in each case are determined by a physician.
