JIUNO — cellular technology platform
An automated end-to-end platform: preparation of cellular products, storage and quality control. It is precisely this infrastructure that separates regulated cellular medicine from grey-market practice.

About the platform
JIUNO: what sets this platform apart
JIUNO is not quite a hospital: it is the technology platform that cellular medicine in the cluster rests on. This is where products are manufactured, tested and stored. Patients usually never see this part — which is a pity, because it is exactly what separates regulated cellular medicine from grey-market practice.
The platform's guiding idea is to minimise the human factor. Cell preparation runs on automated stations; storage is in the HATCH robotic cryobank in liquid-nitrogen vapour at around −196 °C, where access and tracking happen without staff involvement. For sterility and reproducibility this is decisive.
A separate direction is the organoid laboratory: a miniature three-dimensional model of the tumour is grown from the patient's own tissue and used to test agents. The direction is investigational — it does not replace standard oncology protocols and is applied at the physicians' discretion.
An honest caveat: unlike the hospitals, JIUNO is a manufacturing platform and there is little public material about it. Everything described here comes from materials and filming on the site itself, not from public registers. If that matters to you — say so, and we will arrange a visit.
When it is chosen
The cases where the route leads here
The clinic is matched to the case. These are the situations in which this particular strength becomes the deciding factor.
- The programme involves a cellular product — it is prepared and tested here
- You want to store your own cells personally
- You are interested in exosome products and SVF
- It matters to you exactly where and to what standard the product is made
Key facts
What is actually here
- Automated cryobank
HATCH robotic storage: cells are held in liquid-nitrogen vapour at around −196 °C, with access and tracking handled without human involvement.
- Robotic preparation of products
An automated culturing and preparation station reduces the human factor — the key issue for sterility and reproducibility.
- In-house quality control
Molecular biology laboratory, sterility and endotoxin testing, PCR control and flow cytometry. Every batch passes multi-stage checks.
- Organoid laboratory
A miniature model of the tumour is grown from the patient's tissue and used to test agents. The direction is developing and is applied at the physicians' discretion.

Directions
What the platform works with
Whether a specific programme is possible is decided by the physicians after the work-up.
- Production of cellular products to GMP standards
- Personal storage of your own cells
- Exosome products and SVF
- Laboratory quality control of every batch
The cluster
Other clinics in the cluster
We are not tied to a single clinic: if your direction is stronger elsewhere, the route is built through that hospital.

Is this platform part of your route?
Send your records and imaging — Dr Yang will review them and say which hospital in the cluster is strongest for your case, and whether the trip is worth making.
